About us

We are a not-for-profit entity that contributes to the social integration through art, teaching and alternative therapies, and also carry out investigative work based on the Anthroposophy of Rudolf Steiner and Waldorf teaching. We are a multi-disciplined team, made up of psychologists, therapists, teachers, artists and sociologists, united as volunteers contributing to the reconstruction of the social thread and peace in Colombia, offering alternatives to vulnerable communities who want to build a better quality of life.

15 years ago, the then called "Waldorf Musical Teaching Study Group" came together to think and give a structure to music teaching in Cali. They conducted many workshops and open seminars to the whole Cali teaching community. Today, this group has consolidating and grown into Fundación Andarte to deliver to the wider public services ranging from general artistic therapies involving not only music, but also Eurythmy, handicrafts and painting. The Fundación Andarte believes in the importance of a space that supports the general community with profound artistic experiences with an anthroposophy focus. The arts continues to be a great transformative force in the close relationship with processes of the human soul. This force can be amplified by therapeutic processes and teaching to become closer to oneself and participate in community life in a constructive and healthy way.

Vision

Through the knowledge of Anthroposophy, the Fundación Andarte seeks to deliver to more people, to a wider and heterogeneous public interested in working in the arts, therapy or teaching with the objective of contributing to the construction of a healthy society with a integrated healthy body, soul and spirit.

Mission

Through therapeutic and teaching processes, creating awareness of the transformative possibilities of the arts and of the strength they have in the way of self-knowledge and contributing to the physical, spiritual and spiritual health of those interested in improving their quality and to participating in community life in a healthy and constructive way. The sharing of material and knowledge, supporting impulses from anthroposophy in the three areas in which we work.
